Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply to the Mere website and the founding list, together "the site." By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

"Mere," "we" and "us" mean Quantumis LLC, a Virginia limited liability company that operates the Mere Ring brand. "You" means you. The founding list is for adults 18 and over.

How we handle personal information, including your email address, is explained in our Privacy Policy.

What Mere is today

Mere is not on sale yet. The site introduces the Mere Ring, the Mere app and the Mere Formula, which will follow the ring. It also lets you join the founding list.

Joining the founding list is free. It creates no order, purchase or reservation, and it doesn't hold a ring, a price or a ship date for you. We take no payments on the site today.

We'll use your email to send Mere launch updates: news of the free Reading, when orders open and shipping timing. Every email we send will include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed at any time by writing to info@merering.com.

Right now we only collect emails, and nothing is charged. When orders open, you'll see the price, the ship date and the full terms, and agree to them, before anything is charged.

Not medical advice

Mere is a general wellness product. The ring reads your pulse and sleep each night, and the app describes what it sees in plain English. Mere has not been cleared or approved by the FDA, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

The ring notices. Your doctor decides.

Nothing on the site is medical advice, and nothing here replaces care from a doctor or another qualified clinician. Talk to one before changing a medication, treatment, diet or supplement. Never ignore or delay professional advice because of something you read here. Our Health & wellness page explains more.

Products in development

The Mere Ring, the Mere app and the free Reading are in development. The features, specifications, sensors, finishes, sizes, battery life and timing described on the site are our current plans. They may change before launch.

The Mere Formula is also in development. It will be optional and will launch after the ring. Its ingredients, forms, doses, schedule and price aren't final. If you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication, ask your doctor before taking any supplement.

App screens, photos and renders on the site show Mere as we are designing it. The finished products may look and work differently.

Prices and availability

Prices shown on the site, including the planned $299 price of the Mere Ring, may change before launch. Any price that applies to you will be shown and confirmed before you pay anything.

Mere plans to launch in the United States. Availability, finishes, sizes, quantities and ship dates may change, and we may limit or withdraw any offer before you buy. If we get a price or description wrong, we'll correct it.

Using the site

You're welcome to read the site and share links to it. Please use it lawfully and with care. Please don't:

• scrape, crawl or harvest content or data from the site by automated means, beyond standard search-engine indexing
• probe, scan or test the site for weaknesses, or try to get around its security, rate limits or other protections
• overload, disrupt or attack the site, including with denial-of-service traffic, malicious code or automated signups
• sign up an email address that isn't yours to use
• pretend to be Mere, or suggest a connection with Mere that doesn't exist
• use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights

We may block access, or remove an email address from the list, if we believe these terms have been broken.

Intellectual property

The Mere name, wordmark and logo, and the words, illustrations, animations and code we created for the site, belong to Mere. Other images and materials on the site belong to their owners. All of it is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may view the site and share links to it. Anything more, including copying, editing, republishing, selling or using our content to train machine-learning models, needs our written permission. Nothing in these terms gives you a license to use the Mere name or wordmark.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Links to other sites

The site may link to research, articles and services run by others. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is a reference, not an endorsement, and their own terms apply when you visit.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the site accurate, current and available, but we can't promise it always will be. The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available."

To the extent the law allows, Mere disclaims all warranties about the site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

Any warranty for the Mere Ring will be set out in its own warranty terms, which we'll make available before you buy.

Limitation of liability

The site is free to use. To the extent the law allows, Mere is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, even if we knew they were possible.

To the same extent, Mere's total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or takes away consumer rights that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about them or the site, are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protections where you live still apply.

If something goes wrong, please write to us before anything formal. Most things can be resolved with a conversation.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we haven't given it up. These terms are the whole agreement between you and Mere about the site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Changes to these terms

Mere is early, and these terms will grow with it, especially as orders, the app and the Formula launch. When we change them, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll say so clearly on the site. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
